ORV is back with the new album 'Discontinued'. Here one might say that ORV simply goes on from where he started with the debut album. Sure, again 'Discontinued' offers a mixture of ballades and pop- and clubsongs, yet better than before. And by this it's proving what synthpop still can be: popsongstructures without having to curry favour with the mainstream or Zeitgeist. Popsongs that not only can be but also are allowed to be experimental, even sometimes not to care about popsongstructures at all. In some way a sort of melodic protest. This is 'Discontinued' - what did you expect?! From May, 18th 2017 forward the CD "Discontinued" is available via www.orpheusinredvelvet.de and www.orpheusinredvelvet.bandcamp.com.Source: Press Release

Hurts
The British Synth duo HURTS emerged from scratch in 2010 and immediately dominated the international charts. Both their debut albums ‘Happiness’ and the overwhelming singles ‘Wonderful Life’ and ‘Stay’ stayed in the hit lists of Europe for months and gained numerous gold and Platinum awards. Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson were the protagonists of a new movement of artists who transported the ideals of the 80s into the present with their elegant style between New Wave, Synth Music and melancholic Zeitgeist Pop.
