Legendary Seattle rockers QUEENSRŸCHE are poised to regain their place as hard rock/heavy metal royalty in 2013. The band has just signed a new label deal with Century Media for the release of their latest studio album. The album is slated for release on June 10th, 2013 in Europe (June 11th in North America) and marks the debut album from the lineup comprised of Todd La Torre (Vocals), Michael Wilton (Guitars), Parker Lundgren (Guitars), Eddie Jackson (Bass) and Scott Rockenfield (Drums). The band premiered a snippet from a new song called "Redemption" from the upcoming release which can be viewed at http://youtu.be/P8iaNZBUK9c. QUEENSRŸCHE join Century Media's diverse roster comprised some of music's most recognizable talent including In Flames, In This Moment, Lacuna Coil and Arch Enemy to name a few.

Progressive metallers THE SAFETY FIRE will enter London’s The Dairy studio in mid-March to record their sophomore album and follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut, Grind The Ocean. This currently untitled release will be produced again by the band’s own Derya “Dez” Nagle (guitar), who previously worked with Frank Turner (MONGOL HORDE), RISE TO REMAIN, and THE HAARP MACHINE. In regards to this upcoming album, Dez comments: "We are extremely excited to be heading back into the studio to record the follow-up to our debut album, ‘Grind The Ocean.’ We have done some amazing tours in the last year and have really grown as a band. We are just really hyped about the new material. It has been great to get into this creative headspace. I'll try to avoid all the usual band clichés of saying how this album will be ‘heavier and more melodic than the first,’ but what I will say is this will be the best album of all time. Ever." After the release of 2011’s "Break the Silence" (number 23 in the German longplay charts) and the headlining tour through 7 European countries in support of this album, the vocal masters of VAN CANTO took the very first live break in their career. They used the time to work on numerous side projects – including Stef’s new Power Metal band HEAVATAR – and to recharge the batteries for their return in 2013! Besides festival appearances (e.g. RockHarz and Summerbreeze) the band will also release their fifth studio album in the fall/winter of 2013. In addition, VAN CANTO renewed their deal with Napalm Records.

You can check out the trailer below and catch the band on tour in March! Along with the tour, the band's new limited edition US tour screen prints now available for purchase. The posters are beautiful, four color screen prints. Only 500 were printed in this collectible and limited edition. Printed in Minneapolis, MN by Burlesque Designs, the posters measure 13″ by 20″ and are printed on 100 lb cover weight cougar white paper. They are available while supplies last at all Donots shows during their 2013 US tour and also on our website.
