Despite their young age, WakeUpCall have worked with american producer Beau Hill (Alice Cooper, Eric Clapton) and M. Baggio (The Fire, Vanilla Sky) and spent the last 2 years touring (more than 100 shows around Europe with bands such as Winger, Heaven's Basement, Tito & Tarantula, The Fire, The Electric Diorama). WakeUpCall just released the second video/single Just Wanna Dance from their first full-lenght album, entitled: Batteries Are Not Included. Since 2000, the M’era Luna festival has become one of the biggest dark music events of Germany, Europe and the world. Visitors spend an eventful camping-weekend in laid-back atmosphere at the grounds of the regional airport Hildesheim Drispenstedt, near Hannover. The festival is known and beloved for its first class music program (goth, metal, industrial), the familial atmosphere, the short distances at the festival grounds, the medieval and clothing fair, scene related readings, glamorous fashion shows and late night parties. All of these make the M’era Luna festival a special event for visitors from all over the globe. Every year more than 20.000 fans with extravagant outfits travel to Hildesheim, a town enjoying to welcome the guests ever since the first festival took place.

The recording sessions for the new masterpiece are finished and POWERWOLF are announcing the title of their upcoming masterpiece and are presenting you a new stunning band picture. The album is called "Preachers of the Night", and will contain 11 burning hot Heavy Metal hymns. Furthermore, the wolves will lay the stage in ashes as the co-headliner for Kreator at the Metal Hammer Awards. With a stunning vocal performance from AMARANTHE singer Elize Ryd, the song shows the more melodic side of Tolkki's songwriting and sets the pace for the wide variety of musical styles that it is possible to find on the full album. "The Land of New Hope" is Tolkki's glorious return to music in full force. He managed to gather an amazing cast of singers and performers including Michael Kiske (UNISONIC), Elize Ryd(AMARANTHE), Rob Rock (IMPELLITTERI), Russell Allen (SYMPHONY X), Sharon Den Adel (WITHIN TEMPTATION) and Tony Kakko (SONATA ARCTICA). Rounding up the stunning line-up of this album are: Alex Holzwarth (RHAPSODY of FIRE) on drums and Jens Johansson (STRATOVARIUS), Derek Sherinian (BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION), Mikko Härkin (SONATA ARCTICA) on keyboards, with Tolkki taking care of all guitars and bass recordings and of course production duties. You can enjoy a full EPK presentation of the album following this link.
