Iced Earth - World Tour 2014 - Support: Warbringer, Elmstreet
This February the gods of metal mean it well with us mortal worshippers for ICED EARTH come to town. ICED EARTH alone would be powerful enough to break that small but dearly loved location to little pieces but they bring WARBRINGER and thrash metal hotshots ELMSTREET with them so beware! ICED EARTH enriched the metal scene with 12 records of power, passion and astonishing heavy metal music since their formation in 1984 to introduce you to their work should be unnecessary (if you love metal and don`t know them you owe it to yourself to catch up quick).
The two support acts for ICED EARTH are without a doubt worth being mentioned here. At first there is WARBRINGER, formed in 2004 in Ventura, California. WARBRINGER play thrash metal like their idol METALLICA and SLAYER. This band accomplished to put out 5 records in 9 years and literally played their heavy metal asses off on tour with bands like NILE, SUFFOCATION and NAPALM DEATH. The second support is ELM STREET from Melbourne, Victoria in Australia. These guys put their debut album out in 2011 and play traditional metal influenced by the likes of JUDAS PRIEST and METALLICA. The singer unites the likes of James Hetfield, Dave Mustaine and Chuck Billy in his very unique voice, I would wonder if the three bands earn their weight in gold just for selling merchandise on this evening.
