EISBRECHER was founded by two talented musicians Alexx Wesselsky (lyrics / vocals) and Noel Pix (synth, guitars, programming) who had been already well-known thanks to their previous project MEGAHERZ.
EISBRECHER’s music can be described as progressive electro rock. Electronics is the ground on which Noel and Alexx apply strict and mild riffs creating striking, captivating, high-quality tracks with expressive lyrics. After almost 10 years of the existence of the band and some changes in the line-up, in 2012 EISBRECHER released the fifth studio album entitled ‘Die Hölle muss warten’, the title track of which bursts into Top 3 German charts. EISBRECHER are outstanding representatives of German dark music with such hit compositions as ‘Schwarze Witwe’, ‘Vergissmeinnicht’, ‘This Is Deutsch’, ‘Eiszeit’ and ‘Ohne dich’. The band played at many festivals and toured with ALICE COOPER during Cooper's "Theatre of Death Tour" of Germany and legendary SCORPIONS.
With ‘Die Hölle muss warten’ the musicians managed to stay true to their original sound supplemented it with various impressive elements. Rock anthems, club hits and heartfelt compositions pleased all lovers of good music and increased the army of the band’s fans. Between 2013 and 2014, EISBRECHER celebrates their 10th anniversary. So after the bit German tour the band is going to Russia for the 3rd time in their history to play in Moscow and St. Petersburg. “Es wird kalt!”
