Forta Rock with Iron Maiden, Slayer, Alter Bridge, Dimmu Borgir, Carcass, Sabaton, Trivium, Behemoth, Ghost, Blood Ceremony and more to be announced
After five very successful years including a blast with last year’s FortaRock XL edition, the festival is back with another impressive line-up. Again, the event takes place at the Goffertpark in Nijmegen. This bigger location offers the opportunity for an extra stage, enabling about twenty bands to play on three stages.
The line-up of the past editions of this “heaviest day in the park” festival has already been impressive with names such as MOONSPELL (2009), FEAR FACTORY (2010), MACHINE HEAD (2011), LAMB OF GOD (2012), MOTÖRHEAD (2013) and RAMMSTEIN (2013). Each year, the festival presents a broad range of metal from classic doom metal to black metal and metalcore. The line-up for FortaRock 2014 so far is IRON MAIDEN, SLAYER, ALTER BRIDGE, DIMMU BORGIR, CARCASS, SABATON, TRIVIUM, BEHEMOTH, GHOST and BLOOD CEREMONY. More bands will be announced soon, so keep an eye on the website!
FortaRock 2014 takes place on Saturday 31th of May in the Goffertpark in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Early Bird tickets have already sold out, regular tickets are still available.
