wizard_ofwariwolfs The new, ninth studio album of the German True Metal squad WIZARD, will be titled "...of Wariwulfs And Bluotvarwes", and will be released on March 25th, 2011, on CD and limited edition vinyl album, through Massacre Records. The concept album, based on the story written by the famous German fantasy writer André Wiesler, was recorded by Volker Leson at the Magic Hall Studio in Bocholt, and mixed & mastered by Achim Köhler (PRIMAL FEAR, SINNER). The cover artwork for the album was designed by Steve Argyle, and can be viewed here.

In May 2009, the time had come and the band around mastermind Chris Corner released their third album ‘Kingdom of Welcome Addiction’ following a three years long starving time of the fans for new material. The album saw them emphasizing the emotional face of the songs, additionally adding an increased organic feel to the electronic compositions. The following tour dates gave a visually impressing and exciting counterpart to those songs. At some point though, the time for Chris had come to retreat to the studio to begin working on the fourth record.

Phillip Boa & The Voodooclub

‘Diamonds Fall’, which was released to partly euphoric reviews in February 2009 saw PHILLIP BOA & THE VOODOOCLUB performing some of their best studio material. The album also was accompanied by a little tour. The album was followed-up by the ‘Jane Wyman EP’, including some new tracks as well. Now there’s something new coming up, or should we say something renewed to suit it better. What we’re talking here is the re-mastered re-release of the two early Boa releases ‘Helios’ and ‘Boaphenia’.
