There’s a very special kind of aura surrounding the Finnish lady TARJA TURUNEN at all times. Aside from her extraordinary opera voice it was the elegance, the dignity and the passion she radiates that’s making her such a popular figure in my opinion. Ever since the ways of NIGHTWISH and her parted she’s been pursuing her solo career which has become equally successful as her previous engagements. Her first solo record ‘My Winter Storm’ from 2008 got rewarded aplenty and was followed up with a successful tour in the following. Her next album ‘What Lies Beneath’ already was released in autumn 2010 and it’s high time people got to see those songs presented live again.
The trail of supporting artists includes firstly the Norwegian Goth Metal stars LEAVES’ EYES. Fronted by no one less that Aex Krull and Liv Kristine they will definitely pull off a huge show. Secondly, we have French formation MARKIZE who’ll be doing the opening act for this year’s live package.
