The release date of the ‘Insurgentes’ DVD documentary had to be pushed back to 29th October due to the transfer of the original movie to DVD being done again to do the quality of the visuals more justice.

As both of its predecessors the current single of Pink Turns Blue made it again to the winners' rostrum "best 3" of the alternative club-scene - voted by Germanys Alternative DJs. With Deine Lakaiens "Gone" and Combichrists "Never Surrender" STORM
finds itself in best company.

The Italian stoner/desert rock power trio spreads a powerful & kick-ass heavy stoner sound with its new record "Carmina Diabolo", released in May on Longfellow Deeds Records / Season of Mist. The album is still available in CD and limited double gatefold edition there.

Perseverance and dedication are the two qualities that have made German thrash metal band Dew-Scented one of the pre-eminent names on the thrash metal scene. After the release of one demo tape, Steamhammer/SPV released in 1996 their debut album “Immortelle”. The band were still in a primitive form at this time, but quickly progressed and showed enough drive to earn the attention of Grind Syndicate Media/Nuclear Blast, who released the two follow-up albums “Innoscent” (1998) and “Ill-Natured” (1999). Although heavy music had a resurgence at the end of the ‘90s, it was generally other forms of music that quickly dominated, such as melodic death metal, black metal and power metal.
