Sweden’s Thrash Metal act #1 returns with a long-overdue live DVD/CD release entitled “Road Kill”, just in time for their upcoming European tour dates with Slayer. The DVD features an in-depth, very unique “on the road movie” documentary, an intense recording of THE HAUNTED's current and up-to-date live set and the band’s recent promotional video clips as bonus. The intense live show was captured in Amsterdam’s Melkweg on February 13th, 2009 by Fabchannel and its sound was mixed and mastered by long-term band-producer Tue Madsen (Sick Of It All, Dark Tranquillity, Heaven Shall Burn).- Details

WEEDEATER's previously announced "Nine Toe" tour - named after the recent accidental self-removal of frontman "Dixie" Dave Collins' via a shotgun cleaning incident - is now underway. "Mirage" is the highly awaited new single from Lowe (Sweden). The song is a dark electronic pop track with a disco beat. "ABBA meets DAF in a darkroom while Bowie and Kylie are sharing a bottle of Soviet champagne in the bar", says Rickard (bass guitar). The release contains a single version, a pounding remix by Swedish EBM-band Dupont and a classic 12" extended mix. The music style is "pop noir", a mix between electronic rhythms, melancholic harmonies and throbbing electric bass.
