The 1979 born German singer landed a summer hit in 2006 with ‘Der Sommer unseres Lebens’ which stormed the top 10 of the German charts and stayed in the top 20 for over 10  weeks. The first album with the title ‘Der fliegende Mann’, peaked at #16 of the charts.

The new single ‘Steig mit ins Boot’  which will be released digitally on Friday is supposed to be a call to help, to participate, to stand up for a good cause and have fun doing it. The song is the appetizer for the long-awaited second album that will be released at the beginning of 2010. The video to the song can be seen at the following portals:

This fall, Out Of Line Music are again sending an exquisite selection of their best bands on tour.. Few words need to be said about the headliner: charts-approved Blutengel are one of the most successful scene-related groups sporting a unique mix of Electro, Gothic and Pop. They are certainly one of the optical highlights of the festival with a lavish stage show featuring pyrotechnics, projections and dance performances. Co-headlining Italian cult-band Kirlian Camera has an almost legendary status in the scene. The catchy anthems “Eclipse” and “Heldenplatz” are mandatory spins in any decent club around the world and the group’s enigmatic live performances are something to behold. On this year’s tour, the group will be promoting their most extensive retrospective, ever: “Odyssey Europa.” Prior to that, Erk Aicrag will be heating up the atmosphere with his band Rabia Sorda. The front man of Hard-Electro-legend Hocico is well-renowned for his sweat-inducing live shows and sure as hell he will be turning any club into a steaming cauldron with the versatile Hard-Electroclash-Punk-onslaught of his latest outing “Noise Diary.”

Since 2006 Van Canto has been the scene's breath of fresh air, as they perform all of their songs a cappella with drums being the only other instrument at play. In this manner, the band can create unique and intriguing songs such as “The Mission” or “Speed of Light”, as well as reinterpretations of classic metal songs like “Battery”, “Kings of Metal”, and “Fear of the Dark”. Furthermore, Van Canto is a veteran of the stage, having performed at various live encounters, e.g., Magic Circle Festival, and Wacken Open Air, to name but a few. An ever growing fanbase is living proof that innovation and tradition do not have to negate each other, but can instead give new impulses to a somewhat stalemate scene.
