The German trio AGONOIZE is undoubtedly a force in the aggro electro genre for years now and both famous and notorious for their explosive live shows. In July 2009, they’ve released the limited single ‘Bis das Blut gefriert’ which was just an appetizer for what’s to come with the upcoming new album ‘Hexakosiohexekontakexa’ that will continue their story of success as of late summer. On 14th August 2009, the new single ‘Steig mit ins Boot’ by SEBASTIAN HÄMER has been released. He wrote that song for the recently founded club “Frogs for Future” from Rostock. The club asked him if he felt like doing a kind of anthem for them. Excited by the idea to give children coming out of socially deprived families a perspective, the song was created. The song is supposed to be a call to help, to participate, to stand up for a good cause and have fun doing it. The single will be available on all relevant download portals by 14th August 2009 and the video clip is already online here: http://www.sebastianhaemer.com/audio/news.html
After releasing the ‘Sängerkrieg’ album in 2008, IN EXTREMO has been almost constantly on tour, gathered new experiences and impressions. One date that’s very vivid in their minds was an acoustic gig they played in September 2008 for the radio station “Fritz” and which was released later with the title ‘Sängerkrieg Akustik Radio Show’. This concert and the preparations for it were, according to singer Micha Rhein, what the essence of IN EXTREMO basically means for them: “To transport emotions, to generate pure energy and to move people with nothing else than the power of music”.
