The friendly gentlemen from the 19th century and their butler Bastille just released a live recording of ‘Schöne Augen’, a song off the current album ‘Tumult’. Performed on cello, double-bass and clarinet, the song sheds some more light on the ETA Hoffmann story ‘Der Sandmann’. Before a new studio album is to be come in 2010, the Dutch band will release the live acoustic album ‘An Acoustic Night At The Theatre’, just in time for Halloween on 30th October 2009. The unplugged sounds, a cross-section through the band discography, recorded on the praised and sold-out theatre tour last year proves that the band around Sharon den Adel is capable of much more than just symphonic and bombastic rock. TARJA TURUNEN has set "What Lies Beneath" as the working title of her new solo CD, tentatively due in early 2010. "With 'My Winter Storm' (2007), I chose the name of the album in the early stages and that helped me to create the concept for the album. With the new album, I decided to do it the same way, so I searched for an inspiring title and all the songs are one way or another related to it."She has announced the lineup of her band for the "Final Storm Tour 2009", which is scheduled to kick off on September 19 at the Elf Fantasy Fair in Arcen, Netherlands.
