W:O:A 2009 - the anniversary concert is history
Dear Metalheads,
The 20th W:O:A is already part of our history and we will keep in memory four essential aspects of our legendary festival, this year:
- the best audience in the world
- tremendously good bands with outstanding performances
- the sun does exist in the North of Germany
- once again no traffic jams

We're happy to put an end to the rumours: Yes, we will support VNV Nation on their European Tour for their recent album "Songs of Faith, Power and Glory".
And, Solar Fake will play at the Neuwerk Festivals 2009 in Cologne and Berlin in December 2009.

A long time ago, Individual Totem emerged as one of Germany's most innovative industrial bands. But even their most hardcore fans are not aware of the first real Totem release: a cassette-only album called Mumia Vera. Now hopelessly out of print and all but forgotten, Mumia Vera represents the early stages of Individual Totem, a unique sound that is years ahead of its time, and the seeds of what would become one of the top industrial bands of the 90s. This Fall, Artoffact Records will re-issue a new version of Mumia Vera, completely remastered and re-tweaked from the original cassettes, and incorporating the original artwork. - Details

In Flames, Killswitch Engage
For 5 years, the Rockstar Energy Drink “Taste of Chaos” tour is a fixed date for every Punk, Hardcore, and Metalcore fan. Initiated in winter 2004 by the organizers of the legendary “Vans Warped Tour”, it gathers a mixture of powerful and unpretentious bands every year to tour together. Since 2005, there’s also a European version of the “Taste of Chaos” tour and every time, fans of hard music will be spoilt with a firework of intense, Rock, Punk, and Metal music. This year, the “Taste of Chaos” tour - between 6th and 9th December - stops in Berlin, Wiesbaden, Munich, and Oberhausen. IN FLAMES and KILLSWITH ENGAGE are already confirmed. More bands in preparation!
