“Go To Hell”, the second full-length album from Swedish Death Metallers MALEFICIO was released today, Tuesday 13th October, on APOLLON RECORDS. “Go To Hell” represents a move to an established European label for the band, whose 2005 debut album, “Under the Black Veil”, was released on the Columbian label Hateworks Records. MALEFICIO, whose name comes from a reference in a Jack Nicholson movie, was formed in 1990, by vocalist DAN SOXX and drummer PTR, and originally started out as a four-piece, with guitarist MIKE (ex-MNEMONIC) and former ARCHANGEL bassist GOAT. The band became a five-piece in 2008 with the addition of rhythm guitarist BIG TORE (ex-GRIEF OF EMERALD). The band draws its inspiration from a wide range of metal acts, blending all the different styles to form MALEFICIO’s own trademark sound, which is strongly riff-orientated powerhouse Death Metal.
