Devilside Festival
In the year of the lord 2009 it’s going to happen. The Devilside festival will open its gates for the very first time to give rock aficionados a full day in the sign of head banging. From 11 in the morning until eleven in the evening a total of 20 bands on 2 stages allow not the slightest respite for the one’s deciding to attend the festival taking place in the beautiful environment of the Landschaftspark Nord in Duisburg offering besides its capability to contain a huge Open Air Festival many cultural and sportive proposals.

With its second issue coming up this June, the Blackfield Festival is still a very young one, but there can be absolutely no doubt that it’s already one of the top festivals Germany has to offer to the Dark Alternative music scene. On its premier last year, the festival lured about 4,000 people on every of its three days to the wonderful location of the Amphitheater Gelsenkirchen celebrating peacefully a big party with their favourite bands.

Brazilian goth metallers RAVENLAND will have its new album, "...and A Crow Brings Me Back" released in Brazil in the next few weeks by Free Mind Records. The album was produced by Ricardo Confessori (Angra, Shaman) and features guitar parts by Tommy Lindal (ex-Theatre of Tragedy). Powered by the above little animated guy - known as the 'little idiot' and hand-drawn by Moby - Moby has announced the details of the new album which is called "Wait for Me". The new release will be available on June 30th. A free MP3 of the album track "Shot in the Back of the Head" (an instrumental with no vocals) can now be downloaded right here. A video for the track was created by noone else than the cult American film director, screenwriter, producer, painter, cartoonist, composer, video and performance artist David Lynch.
