The duo Andy Bell and Vince Clark are working on a new Erasure album while Andy Bell is also preparing a new solo endeavour. And Erasure being somewhat the guinea pigs for Mute when it comes to experimenting (the LiveHereNow concert series, fanclub CD and DVD releases, ...) have not offered the opportunity to their fans to give some input on what YOU, the fan, want to see in a limited edition of a new Erasure album.Source: Side Line Magazine

From April 28 to May 26, 2009, Depeche Mode is inviting all DJs and aspiring producers out there to remix the band's new single "Peace", taken from their new album "Sounds of the Universe". The winning remix will be released on Beatport.com through Mute Records. As a follow-up to 2007's “Bestie:Mensch” [:SITD:] are working full-time on their fourth studio LP entitled “ROT” – which translates to "RED" in English – due out in the autumn of 2009. Many of the songs and lyrics have already been completed at the [:SITD:] Headquarters in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. In human colour psychology, "ROT" is associated with energy, heat, blood and strong emotions like: aggression, passion and love. Furthermore "ROT" represents revolutionary movements and symbolizes wrath – one of the seven deadly sins.
