Abingdon, Maryland based Orphan Project have posted on their myspace page their entire new album, "Spooning Out the Sea". The album will be available to stream for one entire week (through May 21st). "Spooning Out The Sea", is the bands first full length album since the release of their critically aclaimed 2003, self title debut album. The album is scheduled for a world-wide release on June 30th via NePlusUltra Music.

Faun
The Pagan folk group FAUN was founded in 1999 in Gräfelfing near Munich. They offer an enchanting mixture of Old-High-German charms, courtly minstrel songs and romantic ballads. Besides, they use so unusual instruments like Nyckelharpa, Bendir, Seljefloit and Chalumeaux. In 2009, they present their programme "Faun - unplugged" for the first time. At these concerts, FAUN consists of Oliver Sa Tyr, Rüdiger Maul, Fiona Rüggeberg and Sandra Elflein.

The already in 1972 founded British hard rock quintet MAGNUM distinguishes itself by the unusual voice of the singer Bob Catley, striking keyboard sounds and magnificent guitar sounds. On the 12th of June, 2009 they published their 15th album ‘Into the Valley of the Moonking’ and afterwards they'll start their tour with the same name.

First documented Christian Thrash band, HEAVEN'S FORCE... demos to be releasedHeaven's Force, the earliest known Christian thrash metal band will see their two demo's released as a limited edition digipak (500 copies) on July 21st via Open Grave Records under the title, "Aggressive Angel".
Heaven's Force was based out of Fort Worth, Texas. They recorded two demos, the first being titled "Aggressive Angel" which was self released in 1983. The second demo would come a year later under the title, "Heaven's Force". Heaven's Force was a collaboration between David Gryder, Chris Richie, and Kelly Berger. David Gryder would later go on to help form the influential thrash band Rotting Corpse with John Perez (Solitude Aeturnus).

Guitarist CLAUDIO ALCARA, best known for his work with Italian Black Metallers FROSTMOON ECLIPSE, has finished work on the next release for his solo acoustic project STROSZEK. The EP, titled “The Wild Hunt”, is the follow up to the 2007 full-length album “Songs of Remorse”, and will be released later this year on the God is Myth label.
Commenting on the inspiration for “The Wild Hunt”, ALCARA said, “STROSZEK has always been the means through which I can communicate my own view of life, which, like most people’s, is largely governed by my moods. The fours songs on the EP are very much influenced by the feelings of depression and introspection that I was going through at the time of writing, and also owe a great deal of their inspiration to H.P. Lovecraft’s story “The Hound”. I’ve always liked its overall “Don’t Break The Oath”-vibe. The theme of the wild hunt is also there, and Todd from the God Is Myth label has already chosen the perfect photograph for the cover”.
