MASTERSTROKE releases its third album "As Days Grow Darker" on May 15th / Germany. Rest of the world got the release already on March 27th. Preceding full-length titled "Sleep" saw the daylight on year 2007."As Days Grow Darker" represents melodic heavy metal adding new fresh epic hooks on tracks that haven’t been heard on MASTERSTROKE’s music before. Gone are the power metal influences - welcomed are the atmospheric parts similar to Evergrey, Nevermore.

Apple Corps Ltd. and EMI Music are delighted to announce the release of the original Beatles catalogue, which has been digitally re-mastered for the first time, for worldwide CD release on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 (9-9-09), the same date as the release of the widely anticipated ‘The Beatles: Rock Band’ video game. Each of the CDs is packaged with replicated original UK album art, including expanded booklets containing original and newly written liner notes and rare photos. For a limited period, each CD will also be embedded with a brief documentary film about the album. On the same date, two new Beatles boxed CD collections will also be released.- Details

Already with their first single ‘Shake it’ the US four-piece gained a Top 10 placement in Germany’s Singles Chart in the past week; this week the song climbed up one more place. In Germany’s Airplay Chart the single’s on the way into the Top 20. 4th July sees the band coming to Germany for the first time for a show. Mason Musso, Trace Cyrus, Blake Healy and Anthony Improgo have been confirmed for the ‘Energy In The Park’ event at Berlin’s Wannsee. After countless energy-packed hit singles by the Californian Punk Rockers, they now release something entirely unexpected as the third single of their current album ‘Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace’: A ballad! This isn’t all though. While the band started a fireworks of partly absurd and comic-esque ideas in their video clips from the past; the new one, created under the direction of Lex Halaby (i.e. BAD RELIGION, HOOBASTANK) shows a more grave and retrained face of the band and that’s no surprise as singer and guitarist Dexter Holland picks up a story in the song, happening during his own school time and is reflected in the video. Like all other songs of the eighth THE OFFSPRING album also ‘Kristy, Are you Doing Okay?’ was produced by star producer Bob Rock (Metallica, Aerosmith, The Cult etc.)- Details

What do Catharine Boutari and Tape have in common with DIE SO FLUID? They all have been guests at Balcony TV once. One day later after Grog, All, And Drew set Hamburg’s Markthalle on fire they’ve been interviewed by Johanna, known as charming host of the show. Additionally the band was performing ‘Not Everybody Gets a Happy Ending’ that thanks to Grog’s crystal-clear voice, Greg’s sensational guitar play and Al’s drum improvisation on the balcony ledge became an expressive show.
