Reznor has kept his promise to end all personal twittering to put a stop to all the Twitter drama that had unfolded lately. He now has gone a step further and actually closed his account for good. It doesn't prevent Nine Inch Nails as a band to continue posting all kinds of material via the official Twitter band account, from pictures to video fragments (via Twitvid) as you can see after the jump. Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to the author's subscribers who are known as followers. Users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website, Short Message Service (SMS) or external applications.
