Klez.e - “Einmal mehr gegen die Furcht”
What do you do when the world around you seems to be falling apart? For KLEZ.E, the answer is surprisingly simple: seek connection. With their sixth studio album ‘Einmal mehr mit Dir gegen die Furcht’ (‘Once More With You Against Fear’), the Berlin band confront uncertainty and fear with a sense of closeness and community. At its core lies not existential dread, but existential urgency: the feeling that there is no better time than now to move closer together, even when the times we live in give us plenty of reasons to be afraid.
Almost 25 years after the band was formed, Tobias Siebert (vocals, guitar), Daniel Moheit (synthesizer, bass) and Filip Pampuch (drums, percussion) released ‘Einmal mehr mit Dir gegen die Furcht’ in June 2026. While its predecessors ‘Desintegration’ and ‘Erregung’ were marked by a particularly bleak and sombre atmosphere, the new record lets considerably more light into KLEZ.E’s characteristic melancholy. The result is still unmistakably rooted in the band’s atmospheric mixture of Post-Punk, New Wave and Alternative, but feels more open and direct, both musically and lyrically.
This autumn, KLEZ.E are taking the album on the road for a 15-date tour across Germany. On 24th September, the trio will stop at Hamburg's Hafenklang, a venue right at the harbour, bringing their new material with them and offering the perfect soundtrack for an autumn evening by the water, overlooking the ships and cranes of Hamburg’s port.
And even the tickets come with a little extra affection. Instead of simply offering old-fashioned hard tickets, the band have turned them into “Hearttickets”: limited physical tickets with gold lettering and a personalised, handwritten reverse side. A small but rather lovely detail for an album and tour that are, after all, about finding connection even in uncertain times.
