Periphery & Support: The Contortionist (USA) & Destrage (IT)
The six-man band from Washington, PERIPHERY, will hit the stage at the Rockhal on 26th May 2017. The progressive metal band was formed in 2005 and they launched their first album, ‘Periphery’, in 2010. Since then, they are a representing the vanguard of addictive, chaotic, challenging and cathartically inviting heavy music for the modern era and had won a large spectrum of fans.
Dedicating themselves to reaching levels of artistry, musicianship and craftsmanship so high as to transcend from being the most important band of the djent subgenre to being one of the most important metal bands period. In May they’ll present their new album ‘Periphery III: Select Difficulty’ in Europe. The tour started the 2nd May in Wiesbaden, Germany, and will have an end the 27th of May in Nijmegen, Netherlands.
