Alice In Chains - World Tour 2018

The iconic co-founders of Grunge Rock, ALICE IN CHAINS, have announced an extensive world tour, which takes them to Germany for two gigs this summer. The tickets for the relatively tiny Live Music Hall in Cologne sold out in a matter of moments, which manifests that there is a pretty solid demand to see the band even after all these years, and after they tragically lost their iconic singer Layne Staley in 2002 in a drug overdose.

It was guitarist and song writer Jerry Cattrell, who brought the band back together again, and they released an album (called ‘Black Gives Way to Blue’) in 2009. The following world tour got rave reviews. However, the band seemed to take it slow, releasing just another album in 2013 called ‘The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here’. Reportedly, another new album has been in the works since 2017, which hopefully gets released somewhere in the summer of 2018. A new single called ‘The One You Know’ has been released in April, and it shows a solid dose of the ingredients that made songs like ‘Them Bones’, ‘Would?’, or ‘Rooster’ into what they are: ground-breaking, iconic pieces of art for all ages to come.
