Dead Kennedys - European Summer Tour 2019
Wow, this is going to be epic. The godfathers of American Punk Rock, DEAD KENNEDYS, will play for the first time in the Düsseldorf zakk. DEAD KENNEDYS were formed in San Francisco, California in 1978. They were among the first to bands to really test the authorities, provoking a debate about censorship in Rock music. The band dissolved in 1986 but reunited without their legendary vocalist Jello Biafra in 2001. Bitter court battles ensued over the musical legacy of the band, and until this day, all talks of a potential reunion of the original line-up have failed.
However, this summer presents the unique opportunity to see legendary Punk anthems such as ‘Holiday in Cambodia’, ‘Too Druck to F**k’, or ‘Police Truck’ live in the truly alternative setting of the zakk.
