Hard to believe, but true - for the 3 October shows, that are an encore to the successful summer open-air tour, DEEP PURPLE bring the successor of their number one CD ‘inFinite’ (2017)! Besides songs of the 21st studio album, the Hard Rock legend performs their classics and one or more song surprises from a career that now lasts for more than five decades. Possible candidates with the best chances to be performed are ‘Highway Star’, ‘Pictures of Home’, ‘Lazy’, ‘Black Night’ and, of course, the evergreen ‘Smoke on the Water’.
The formation steeped in history is in top form right now. Ian Gillan (vocals), Roger Glover (bass), Ian Paice (drums), Steve Morse (guitar), and Don Airey (keyboards) are bursting with joy of performing. That is why they seized the moment in 2019, and recorded their latest album at the breaks of their perennial “Long Goodbye” world tour. Then, they packed their bags again, and went back to stages all over the world.
