Transformation is at the core of Chris Corner’s music. Since leaving the successful Trip-Hop group SNEAKER PIMPS, Corner’s style has become more theatrical, more transcendent and more communal. Androgynous and visceral, Chris Corner, aka IAMX, has transformed himself from a working-class urban worker into an international Pop star and creator of raw art free of any gender roles and genres. Electrifying experimenting with Punk energy and denominational lyricism, Corner’s Goth and Industrial sound, fashion, performances, videos and persona are iconoclastic and shockingly intimate.
In addition to his success as a songwriter, producer and artist, IAMX is one of the most licensed musicians in the TV series ‘How to get away with Murder’ from ABC TV. By the beginning of 2018, IAMX had dubbed 16 of his songs to a soundtrack, making him one of the most recognizable composers on television, also thanks to the creator of the show, Pete Nowalk, who is a big fan of IAMX. IAMX is provocative and sets a high value on aesthetics, which makes him so special in his creative creation process.
