The iconic Alternative Rock band GARBAGE is back in Europe this summer after a 5-year absence and will be at the Rockhal on Sunday the 30th of June. The band, formed in Winsconsin in 1993, is fronted by the charismatic Scottish lead singer Shirley Manson and backed by the American musicians Duke Erikson, Steve Marker, and Butch Vig (also known for producing NIRVANA’s album ‘Nevermind’).
Known for their eclectic mix of genres, GARBAGE fuses elements of Rock, Electronica, and Grunge, creating a distinctive sound that has captivated audiences for decades, with unforgettable hits such as ‘Stupid Girl’, ‘Only Happy When It Rains’ and ‘I think I’m Paranoid’. They have achieved global album sales exceeding 17 million units. They released their seventh album ‘No Gods No Masters’ in 2021 and they are currently at work on what will be their 8th studio album. Their unique style and songcraft have carried them from decade to decade, proving their staying power as one of Rock’s finest.
