Tori Amos - “In Times Of Dragons Tour 2026”
Since the release of her debut album ‘Little Earthquakes’ in 1992, American artist TORI AMOS has built an extraordinary body of work defined by fearless storytelling and a singular musical voice. With eight Grammy nominations, five MTV VMA nominations, multiple platinum certifications and over 12 million albums sold worldwide, Amos remains one of the most distinctive and influential singer-songwriters of her generation.
With her new album ‘In Times of Dragons’ on the horizon, the exceptional artist will embark on her largest headline tour in over a decade, performing in 17 countries across Europe in April and May 2026. On stage, TORI AMOS will once again be joined by long-time collaborators Jon Evans (musical director & bass), Ash Soan (drums), and backing vocalists Liv Gibson, Deni Hlavlinka, and Hadley Kennary.
The concerts promise not only new material from the forthcoming album but also a wealth of highlights from her remarkable 35-year career - a journey that has continually redefined the boundaries between Alternative Rock, baroque Pop, and electronic music.
Both her lyrics - often poetic, emotional, political, and feminist - and her music - characterised by powerful piano lines and emotive vocals - became defining trademarks following ‘Little Earthquakes’. These evolved across albums such as the UK No. 1 Under the ‘Pink’ (1994) and ‘Boys for Pele’ (1996), before embracing electronic influences on ‘From the Choirgirl Hotel’ (1998) and ‘To Venus and Back’ (1999).
TORI AMOS’ appetite for experimentation continued into the 2000s, with expansive storytelling and thematic works including ‘Scarlet’s Walk’ (2002) and ‘American Doll Posse’ (2007), which explored American identity, and the concept album ‘The Beekeeper’ (2005), a meditation on life and death.
In the early 2010s, she turned her focus to classical crossover, releasing ‘Night of Hunters’ (2011), which earned her an Echo Klassik award, followed by ‘Gold Dust’ (2012), a reimagining of her songs in orchestral form. She returned to her trademark sound with ‘Unrepentant Geraldines’ (2014).
Four years after her most recent studio album ‘Ocean to Ocean’ (2021), Amos presents a new work: ‘In Times of Dragons’, her 18th studio album, continuing her legacy of blending resilience and awakening with striking musical and lyrical depth. The album reflects a world in flux - a powerful meditation on the tension between freedom and forces of control.
As Amos herself describes it, ‘In Times of Dragons’ is “a metaphorical story about the fight for democracy and against tyranny - mirroring the current, deliberate destruction of democracy in real time by the ‘dictator-minded lizard demons’ in their usurpation of America.”
