Chrom / Ministry Of Sound today confirms October 18th., 2010 as the release date for Deine Lakaiens’s new studio album “Indicator” for Europe outside G/S/A.  It's exactly five years since Veljanov and Horn released their last studio album "April Skies" but they haven't just been twiddling their thumbs in the meantime. They celebrated their twentieth anniversary with an opulent orchestra tour and continue to pursue their long-standing tradition of acoustic tours: opportunities enough for a little soul-searching. "Of course we hope to have become wiser, more experienced, more aware – and to have improved, too", explains Veljanov. "What was crucial for us when we started this work, was the sense that this Deine Lakaien project still has things to accomplish".

"Indicator" doesn't simply rehash tried and tested formulas. It heralds a whole new era. Anyone who's always appreciated Deine Lakaien will find on this album a fine range of what the duo has always done well. Both musicians have, after all, crammed tons of experience into their tour luggage. When they tipped it all out on the studio floor, there were surprises in store. True, they maintain their original focus on electronic instruments but the stylistic diversity and natural playfulness they derive from that is amazing.
