Review Flash

Italian Darkwave band THE FROZEN AUTUMN was formed back in 1993 and is characterized by a blend of melancholic vocals, atmospheric gothic-wave, and 80s-style electro pop. With already a few released on their sleeves, the band was back with ‘Chirality’, released on their own label Calembour Records in November 2011 and later in America via Metropolis Records. ‘Chirality’ is an artistic collage of seamlessly blended styles and genres and the first release after six years of silence. The album has obvious 80s influences with the era’s typical drum sounds and synth melodies, but also includes some guitar parts. ‘Chirality’ contains beautiful songs an overall dark mood. Really recommended!

Conclusion: Fans of eighties New Wave will love this album.
