SUIDAKRA's eleventh album to date, 'Eternal Defiance,' delivers a highly melodic black metal output. Compared to previous efforts the group lives up to their legacy of focusing on hard chugging riffs, snarling vocals, and symphonic backdrops. Comparisons can be made to groups like SHADE EMPIRE or even CARACH AGRAN.
Conclusion: Those who are not used to black metal would do well to check this out. The mix of female clean vocals, male harsh vocals, and clean male vocals give this more variation than a standard black metal album; just try ‘Beneath The Red Eagle’ to get a taste.
