UNSCARRED is a Thrash Metal band from France. They play fast and technical Thrash with female vocals. Their first EP ‘Fake Democracy’ contains five songs, which all are running four minutes or longer. There was a limited Cassette available. The musicians form up a good unit in playing their songs. The vocals are very powerful and switching between growls and screams. It sounds more like the Bay Area tradition Thrash with a modern production, than the euro Thrash Metal. Only a little hit is missing, which does not mean that this EP does not rock. I think there is a lot to come in the future.
Conclusion: Every not too “Old school” Thrasher should give it a chance.
