Review Flash

When Mariusz Duda is not busy with RIVERSIDE he's transitioning with his solo project LUNATIC SOUL where he out-pours the more ambient sound-tracky side of his creativity. The fourth album has a slightly cheesy title of 'Walking On A Flashlight Beam' but is not such at all. There's that beautiful and delicate melancholy that expands to dreaminess, where loneliness becomes something to be treasured for the space it reflects.

Conclusion: This album is quite old now, right from autumn of 2014 but is timeless, worth looking back to it. It's incredibly relaxing as well a showcase of Duda's incredible skill as musician and song-writer with a lovely sensitivity and evocativeness to boot.

Rating: 9 / 10
