Review Flash
DREAMSLAIN vocalist Igor Jakobsen and I know each other for a few month now, we talked, helped each other and we had an interview in August 2020. DREAMSLAIN play crazy music to be honest, there’s epic stuff narrative-wise, there is noisy parts with breaks, transitions and lots of screams and all of that is quite complex and even a bit agitating if you are not used to this sometimes experimental and progressive attempt at Metal. DREAMSLAIN have been making music together for nine years already and they have three singles, one demo, one EP and now finally this LP under their collective belts. Igor made it clear that all energy left will flow into this release here and I can say it really is full of energy and wicked diverse ideas. Blast beats and a melodic keyboard mixed with fierce riffs? No Problem mate! Even if this is a bit hectic sometimes DREAMSLAIN make it crystal-clear that they are here to stay.
Conclusion: For fans of PSYCHOTIC WALTZ, SPASTIC INK AND WATCHTOWER.
