Review Flash

CULT BURIAL is a London, England based Heavy Metal band that was formed in 2020. The music of this three gentlemen can only be described as fucking heavy, like being tarred and feathered while being beaten to death with a ten ton hammer swung by Satan himself. The heaviness and hints of fuzz here and there point towards doom but that is a trick because 92% of the material is just Death Metal infused with deep dark Black Metal. The drums are always there but to an large extent very nuanced, the bass played by Rick is a bit more dominant and essential to the overall sound but the two most important parts are Cesar’s vocals , that are a hybrid of typical Death Metal growls and Black Metal vocals, and the riffs provided by Simon (the thing I like most about the typical Black Metal sound are those staccato riffs that have this very special and exclusive sound to them). CULT BURIAL are an extreme band with an extreme sound but there is more to it, they manage to keep their stuff interesting while tearing your soul apart and that is not a given.

Conclusion: If you like one of the mentioned genres this should be worth checking out.
