I don’t know if I think it is quite hilarious to call themselves after a tendon disorder that usually plagues guitarists (OK yeah it IS funny). Tendonitis from Affoltern, Switzerland are an old-school Thrash Metal band that sounds like a younger version of METALLICA to be honest (I know it is weak but I always like bands with that sound, I am a weak man). The band was formed in 2003 and this is their latest demo (there’s also two full-lengths from 2013 and 2016). This Demo was recorded at the mantra Studio in Adliswil in November 2019, the vocals tracks were recorded separately on another occasion (to be honest I would have never guessed because it sounds really organic and nice). The PR guys state that this is music for fans of ANNIHILATOR and KREATOR as well but all I hear is METALLICA and some well thought out melodies that make me want to get blackout drunk. If you got a weak spot for old-school METALLICA in your heart you should check this out since EVILE do not sound like METALLICA any more TENDONITIS may very well be your substitute.
Conclusion: Thrash Metal to drink and party hard to!
