Review Flash

Ohio based Thrash band VINDICATOR are back with the physical release of their comeback full-length ‘Communal Decay’! The last LP was released in 2012 so the bands fans were practically famished for new material at this point in time. The band that shares its name with at least four other bands was formed in Ohio in 2005 and ‘Communal Decay’ is the bands fourth full-length output to date. VINDICATOR’s sound is an old-school approach to Thrash Metal: no fucking around, no complex overlong tracks that only confuse the semi unconscious crowd that barely manages to shout along after a flirt with the beer-bong in the parking lot. Don’t get me wrong not every movie is “The Godfather” and neither it should be, sometimes there is an itch that only a brick-to-the-face riff-geddon can scratch (we all know that feeling, don’t we?). So, yeah this is not a band that was particularly influenced by DREAM THEATER or PINK FLOYD but rather a band of brothers that want to have a good time and know what to do in order to have it. Bands that might have been an influence are: EXODUS, ANTHRAX and VIOLATOR.

Conclusion: Wanna have a good time, a few beers and maybe a few shots too while banging your head and shouting along to these guys on stage? Check this out!
