Normally I am not the one to speak well or at least not ill-meaning about anything that barely resembles Punk but here I sit appreciating a Hardcore Punk/Metal Band from Norway. The name is Panic Attack and they do rock. The bands vocalist and lyricist David Leigh Picket had his struggles and his ups and downs with bipolarity Type 1, ADD/ADHC, drug addiction and depression and the songs mirror this rocky road of life. The music is full of energy and aggression, the tempo is almost always pretty fast and it is the kind of music that makes your thirsty. There is an underlying influence of Thrash and Speed Metal aside from the general Punk attitude so there is really a lot to uncover under all the grit and grime on the surface. The album was recorded and mixed by Geir Helge Christiansen at Fallout DI Studio in Hollyvåg, Norway and it was mastered by Maor Appelbaum Mastering in California, USA.
Conclusion: If you dig your Hardcore Punk, Thrash or Speed Metal (or all of it) you should give this a few spins.
