Poets of the Fall & Flight Brigade
Another cold, dark evening when I went to the next concert on my list, POETS OF THE FALL in Knust, Hamburg. It would be my first concert with POETS OF THE FALL and I was excited for what I should expect. I listened through their albums, especially ‘Clearview’, and read some reviews of the new album which said that there's nothing really adventurous, new things. I wanted to experience it for myself. My first challenge was to get rid of my backpack because many other people had the same idea. FLIGHT BRIGADE began to play when I still was in line and waited for service. Then I tried to enter the crowd and realized that the concert surely was sold out. Although it was very full I caught a good place to view.

Bastille & Rationale
BASTILLE toured in support of their new album ‘Wild World’ and played four shows in Germany. The last of them and also the final show of their tour took place in Düsseldorf and was completely sold out. Screaming girls in the front rows and devoted fans celebrated their memorable hooks loudly. As support, BASTILLE brought RATIONALE with them.

Unzucht, Firstborn & Randolph's Grin
It was a foggy evening, like in Silent Hill - just Silent Hamburg in this case - when people came to Knust to enjoy another dark-rock Band called UNZUCHT. The audience was the same as usual, dressed in black and willing to listen to UNZUCHT and support-bands. Support on this night were: FIRSTBORN and RANDOLPH'S GRIN.

Covenant, Faderhead & Iszoloscope
Black is the colour of the night when I arrive at the Kulturfabrik in Krefeld. It is a cold evening in late fall but inside the venue, a cool yet cosy club, it is going to be hot. COVENANT are touring Germany and the show in Krefeld is sold out. Tonight’s line-up is completed with ISZOLOSCOPE and FADERHEAD so I expect a fun night. Time to get into the club to be roused and driven by pulsating beats and vibrating basses.

Sinner’s Day 2016 with The Sisters of Mercy, PiL (Public Image Ltd), OMD (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark), Tricky (Presents Skilled Mechanics), DAF (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft), Tuxedomoon, The Beat, The Cassandra Complex
The last tunes of ‘This Corrosion’ are just fading out, the audience goes crazy for the last time, the lights lighten the whole arena up. It is a kind of a magic moment the SISTERS OF MERCY are creating, that stands for the whole day. It was as perfect as the fourth edition of Sinner’s Day in Belgium.
