Who does not know DEICHKIND? With their hits ‘Onkel Willibald will baden’, ‘F(or)EVER’ and ‘Hauptsache Hüpfburg’, the band balanced or ignited the cravings of a whole De-generation, depending on the angle of society you watch from. Now, the three to six members (Kryptic Joe (Philipp Grütering) - MC, Beats, Ferris Hilton (Ferris MC) - MC, DJ Phono, Porky (Sebastian Dürre) - Bass, MC etc.) are back with a new album in 2012, named ‘Befehl von ganz unten’ (Order from the very bottom). Eisbrecher & Lord of the Lost

After the release if the current album ‘Die Hölle muss warten’ was delayed, also the tour was postponed to this year’s February/ March, offering the possibility to add additional dates, like the one on Dortmund. And additional dates were needed since several shows of the tour sold out fast, especially after the chart success of the current album - ‘Die Hölle muss warten’ entered the German charts on position 3! Today, we were finally here to find out how the new songs would work out live on stage.

DAF have made themselves a bit scarce in their home country Germany recently when it comes to live shows, hence fans were more than pleased when the band announced an exclusive club show at the Rosenhof in Osnabrück. While the rest of the country has to wait until March to get the chance to see DEUTSCH-AMERIKANISCHE FREUNDSCHAFT live, the fans in North Germany were privileged to see “their” DAF gig in early February already.
