Apocalyptica, Livingston
It was going to be APOCALYPTICA’s last gig in Germany… for a while… two days and if you don’t get to play for two days to come, you’re aiming to make the current one count, right? As expected before the queue was nothing to call it short. Everyone wanted to see that spectacle going down. Support was the multi-cultural group LIVINGSTON and I wondered how they’d be accepted by the Metal audience.

And One, f.o.d. & Gecko Sector
Steve Naghavi’s AND ONE invited his fans to the “Tanz-o-mat Fulltime Show”, a short tour through a couple of German cities. What might look like a short tour between two albums to convert fan devotion into cash turns out as a completely different story. We checked out the sold-out show at the Stahlwerk in Düsseldorf, which also featured the support acts GECKO SECTOR and F.O.D.!

The Parlotones, Fiction Plane
To be quite honest with you, I didn’t really know what to expect from this evening since I’ve not attended a show of either FICTION PLANE or THE PARLOTONES before. Sometimes that raises anxiety for a possible fail of both bands, which is admittedly unlikely. Here I felt nothing but curiosity and it turned out it was justified.

Indica
INDICA is a Finnish Pop-Rock group founded in 2001. INDICA's first album, ‘Ikuinen virta’, was released in 2004. It has since sold platinum in Finland. INDICA supported NIGHTWISH during their Scandinavian tour 2007 in which they performed English versions of their songs and Tuomas Holopainen of NIGHTWISH produced their next album ‘Valoissa’. The band was also added to the line-up for NIGHTWISH's 2nd half of the “Dark Passion Play Tour” with PAIN. The current album is called ‘A Way Away’ and was released in June 2010.
