Album Review
In 1999, the meeting of Dogh and Andy, signs the beginning of the project. The basic philosophy of the band was inspired from the industrial scene, NIN, MINISTRY or EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN. Lately new members joined the band, Malcom 11 and DarkendDawn. With these new members, BLUE VELVET produced in 2006 the definitive album ‘The Third’ that shocked the critics of many Italian music magazines such Grind Zone and Ascension Magazine. In the same time, the label Koldfinger decided to take care of the band, and their worldwide distribution.
After a large series of concerts performed in 20 months, the band started to work at the remixes of ‘The Third’. The collaboration with the alternative label Breakdown Records began in October 2009. ‘Rotation’ is pure electronic, techno body music, break beat & drum & bass, a must for the clubbers generation. The music of BLUE VELVET not follows the classical concept of Industrial Dance Music and could be seen as very diversified. If you like THE PRODIGY, dark vocals and strong bpm, but also moments of tranquillity, you won't be disappointed. Intention of this album: Dance!
