Within the last year a lot of bands emerged that try to mash-up a lot of styles and create a diversified crossover-mix… it seems to me that LUIS LASERPOWER try to jump on the bandwagon, but fall short in certain points. Although founded earlier than e.g. KRAFTCLUB, they don’t get this level at any time. Of course, ‘Kurz und Schmerzlos’ is at first a quite entertaining release, but LUIS LASERPOWER are not able to abide this impression during the listening session. Maybe I’m slightly too old and don’t get these things anymore, but it’s not that kind of music that really shows a diversified songwriting throughout the songs and appears to be a bit too anxious in parts… Nevertheless, it’s an interesting release, but to be honest: I won’t listen to ‘Kurz und Schmerzlos’ the whole day…
