SOTO is the new band of Jeff Scott Soto, a well-known American rock singer of Puerto Rican descent, best known for being the vocalist of the band TALISMAN from 1990 until 2007, singing on YNGWIE MALMSTEEN`s first two records, touring with JOURNEY and being the singer on five AXEL RUDI PELL outputs. Other mention worthy bands SOTO worked with are: PANTHER, EYES, TAKARA, HUMANIMAL, HUMAN CLAY, KRYST THE CONQUEROR, REDLIST, THE BOOGIE KNIGHTS AND SOUL SIRKUS. He also sang background in over a dozen bands and was involved in round about 50 records (yeah I counted the live albums too).
Jeff Scott Soto undoubtedly has one of the most accomplished rock voices of the modern day, this output is the first solo record not recorded for or published by Frontiers Records. This whole piece of music is typical SOTO material, offering a wide variety of slow to up-tempo songs and all he has to offer vocally. If you are a fan you will surely end up buying this, if not just give it a listen and a chance.
