Zita Rock Festival is undoubtedly one of the most extraordinary events of the festival summer. Mid-June, thousands of rock fans gather again in the monumental surrounding of Berlin's Citadel Spandau to let the mighty walls of the Renaissance fortress quake together with their stars. For the sixth edition of the Zita Rock Festival, we have two big surprises for you:
Second Festival Day Confirmed!
Originally planned as a day event, the Zita Rock Festival 2012 gets a second festival day due to the extremely high demand. So, the Citadel will be rocked on two days, 15th and 16th June 2012. But that's not enough. While the previously announced line-up for Saturday the 16th June with ASP, SALTATIO MORTIS, MONO INC., ZERAPHINE, DUST CHILD and another band remains, there is a stunning headliner for Friday.
Evanescence & Oomph! @ Zita Rock 2012
With more than 25 million records sold worldwide, a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance, and sold-out concerts around the globe, EVANESCENCE belong to the most successful rock bands of the new millennium. Often copied, their original sound of razor-sharp staccato riffs, deep romantic feelings, anthemic euphoria and the unmistakable voice of front lady Amy Lee is unreached. On the latest album ‘Evanescence’ the US megastar reiterated their particular class and presented a musical tour de force that seeks its equal. It is therefore promoter’s absolute honor to present you EVANESCENCE on the Zita Rock Festival. This performance will be the only concert of the band in East 
Germany! Furthermore, we are happy to confirm also OOMPH! for the second festival day. Besides EVANESCENCE and OOMPH!, Hamburg's Gothic rocker LORD OF THE LOST are confirmed already for Friday!
