With the fifth E-tropolis Festival on 28. March 2015 times are getting electronic again at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen. A broad variety of high-profile acts from the EBM-, Industrial- and E-Pop-scene stands ready to burn the festival motto “better – harder – louder“ into your eardrums. Enhancing the recently announced line-up, 2 additional acts confirmed their appearance. Both masters of their craft, they are also to adorn the billing of the E-tropolis Festival for the first time.
NEW BANDS CONFIRMED: PROJECT PITCHFORK + PHOSGORE
For over 20 years PROJECT PITCHFORK rank among the most successful creators and innovators of the dark-electro scene. Often copied, yet scarcely matched, the Hamburg-based formation around mastermind Peter Spilles continuously reinvents itself and reveals its irresistible force especially live. With their brand-new album „Blood“ (release-date: 19.09.14) up the sleeve, PROJECT PITCHFORK are about to stir up the E-tropolis Festival 2015 massively.
For a lesson in firing a „Panzerfaust“ you should pay close attention to the current album „Warhead“ of the industrial-electro two-piece PHOSGORE, which is based in Fulda, Germany. What you hear is what you get: uncompromising heavy beats and thrilling synth-lines that strike into the ground like, well, warheads. The Turbinenhalle dead-center on their crosshairs, PHOSGORE will give the marching orders for a boot-war on the dancefloor.
