The first 18 acts from the line-up of this year’s METAL HAMMER Paradise have been confirmed and increase the anticipation with well-known international bands and popular national acts. The festival in the holiday and leisure park Weissenhäuser Strand celebrates its 10th anniversary on November 17th and 18th, 2023 and was sold out in no time. A small contingent of tickets without accommodation is still available online.
Just a few weeks ago, Thrash Metal icons KREATOR ended their celebrated tour through Germany and are now getting ready for their headlining performance at METAL HAMMER Paradise 2023. Symphonic Metal band EPICA will lead the line-up alongside the Essen-based band. AMORPHIS announce themselves from Scandinavia. PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS promise a corresponding homage with the addition “Plays Motörhead”. KNORKATOR will provide the right pinch of humour. The band around frontman Stumpen will surely make Metal heads laugh with their always amusing performance. A rather dark metal circus is coming up with AVATAR. DESTRUCTION have been an integral part of the German Metal scene since the early 80s. Icelandic alternative sounds come from SÓLSTAFIR.
It’s been quite a while since DEATH ANGEL from San Francisco have been a guest at METAL HAMMER Paradise. For the anniversary edition, the Thrash Metal icons are returning to the Baltic Sea beach. RAGE, who will also be part of the line-up, have a similarly long track record. Crossover veterans DOG EAT DOG promise a loud mix without genre boundaries. In keeping with the November weather, WOLFHEART are visiting the Baltic Sea beach with their music, which they themselves describe as Winter Metal. From the native North Sea coast to the Baltic Sea coast, MOB RULES roll in with energetic Power Metal. SCREAMER’s head-banging sound is almost classic. LOST SOCIETY, ERIK COHEN, BEFORE THE DAWN and HINAYANA have also been confirmed as additional acts for this year’s anniversary line-up.
