The first journey to china for the romantic rockers from Saxony, Bavaria and Berlin was an overall success. The mixture of German classic with modern rock music worked out perfectly for the audience in Guanzhou. Almost 8.000 kilometres from home, the seven musicians almost felt like home. The Chinese people showed their open and hospitable side. About 5.000 people saw the LETZTE INSTANZ at an Open Air performance on a stage in the middle of Guanzhou. The evening on 8th November was opened by the Berlin-based band TELE, followed by MONOKINO from Holland and the young Chinese pop singer Yao Beina.With her LETRZTE INSTANZ singer Holly performed the song ‘Yu Ni Tongxing – Collectively together) in German and Chinese. Around 9:00 PM LETZTE INSTANZ entered the stage and enchanted their audience with their energetic alternative rock, whereas the lyrics were projected on huge video screens in Chinese during the performance. The invitation for the concert came from the Goethe institute. In Guanzhou in South Chine currently happens the so called Germany Promenade. Cultural exchange is the core of the campaign “Germany and China – Together in Motion” and was initiated by the German federal government.
