AndreasStitz SeraphinaKalze byThomasFest“Wir sind die Generation, die niemals aufhört zu tanzen” (We are the generation that never stops dancing), shouts singer Andreas Seitz to the cheering crowd at one of the rousing shows by LEICHTMATROSE. “The longing for the big songs” - for melodies that buzz in your head for weeks and you catch yourself singing along again and again – “for lyrics that shake you up, shock you and move you at the same time.” LEICHTMATROSE have made this their goal. The new EP ‘Wir Kinder Vom Bahnhof Adamo’ will be released on May 5th. In it, the band deals with the destructive power that growing up brings with it. A critical, reflective look at youth.

Anyone who has ever seen LEICHTMATROSE live knows how the band plays themselves into a frenzy and how their own fun and enthusiasm overwhelms them and the audience. Where a crazy frontman takes away your last inhibitions and you go home satisfied with the feeling “How awesome were we today?” In the spring, LEICHTMATROSE are on tour with ASP:
