The depeche-mode.com website has made a round up of all the Depeche Mode news bits they could lay their hands on and things look bright for the 'black swarm' herd. The band will hit the studio in March to work on a few pre-produced songs that songwriter Martin Gore has been working on together with Sie Medway-Smith (Erasure, Client, Depeche Mode ...) in Gore's home studio in Santa Barbara (USA). Add to that a possible inclusion of some Dave Gahan material. - Details

Syrens Call is very proud to present a preview of the artwork of SYRENS CALL's forthcoming DVD " Live From The Abyss ". This double digipak DVD+CD is to be released by Thundering Records/Pervade Productions next April.This niece piece of work has been created by par Frédéric Duvivier already at the origin of the artwork of our second album " Emoceans " (2004 - Brennus Music).

The Lacrimosa-run Hall of Sermon label recently reclaimed the rights on all the band's Nuclear Blast releases. Unavailable for quite some time, two albums and two singles that have been re-released. Included in this series are the albums "Fassade" (2001) and "Echos" (2003) (available in both green-coloured digipak and a normal edition), as well as the singles "Durch Nacht & Flut" (2002) (in two different versions) and "Der Morgen danach" (2001).Source: http://www.side-line.com/

This April, Seabound will release their first live album "Come Forward - Live In Berlin". Just prior to the album release, the band will embark on a 3 week US tour with Iris. The "Alliance Tour 2008" brings Seabound and Iris to New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Seattle and beyond. The tour has been booked and managed by former Dependent Records head Stefan Herwig. With the recent closing of Dependent's doors, "Come Forward" will see a worldwide release on Metropolis Records. - Details

Out via Alice In... on February 5th is the re-release of the first album "Laudanum" (1997) by the Goth-Wave cult formation Whispers In The Shadow. The remastered edition comes with 4 bonus-tracks and new cover-artwork. The bonus-tracks are 2 live-songs,"The Weeping Tree" and a cover-version of The Cure's "A Forest", plus a demo-track from the early phase of the project. Out as well is the re-release of "November", the band's second album from 1998. Also this re-release comes in new cover artwork, re-mastered sound quality and includes 4 previously unavailable bonus-tracks: 3 demos and a cover-version of the David Bowie classic "Heroes".
